3PHASE Pre SBIR Accelerator Opportunity - Information Session!

3PHASE is launching a Pre SBIR Accelerator program aimed at recruiting a cohort of women-led businesses in the healthcare arena who are SBIR/STTR qualified but underprepared for the application process.  This accelerator will provide a readiness boot camp for these companies to enter the 3PhaseSC SBIR/STTR program.  Upon entry into the 3PhaseSC program they will receive full application support.  We intend to recruit and mentor 12 companies (over two 8-week cohorts).  We will recruit companies through applications and recommendations of other entrepreneurial support networks around the state.  Each company will:

• Participate in individualized coaching to solidify their innovation, business plan, team, and partnerships required to form a competitive SBIR/STTR application.
• Meet with potential customers, learn about the pain points their innovation will solve, and develop a comprehensive list of advisors, resources, and other networks valuable to company formation and growth.
• Meet with their cohort, other companies, and additional groups around the state to increase their competitiveness through workshops, conversation circles, lunch and learns, etc.

Focus:  SC bases, women-led, health focused businesses

2 Cohorts:  Up to 6 companies in each cohort

Ideal Stage:  Beyond ideation but looking to solidify target market, apply for SBIR/STTR funding.  May or may not have MVP.
