The SC Department of Commerce Office of Innovation is hosting the annual Relentless Challenge Grant Workshop on August 20th. The interactive sessions are led by a handful of the state's ecosystem partners, who are veterans when it comes to mobilizing local innovation projects.
Participants can expect an overview of the 2021 program, opportunities to discuss key ecosystem topics and a chance to hear prospective proposal pitches from those around the state. Registration is flexible in that attendees can choose to attend all of the sessions or only those that their schedule permits.

About the Relentless Challenge
The Relentless Challenge solicits proposals for projects that focus on fostering technology-based economic development through university collaboration, local government participation or public-private partnerships. Projects target the areas of high-growth entrepreneurship, talent development and unlocking risk capital.
All South Carolina based non-profit organizations; state, county or municipal entities; state educational institutions; and chambers of commerce are all eligible to apply. Proposals must demonstrate a dollar-for-dollar match of non-state appropriated funds.
