The Spartanburg Area Chamber of Commerce in partnership with CommunityWorks has established the Bringing Back the Burg Small Business Fund to help businesses impacted by COVID-19. This loan is designed to financially assist qualifying small businesses in the city and the county through low interest and forgivable loans. Businesses that have been negatively impacted by COVID-19 and meet the criteria could be eligible for up to $10,000 with the possibility of 50% of the loan forgiven after the first year.
