Fast Break for Small Business grant program

Legal Zoom has partnered with the NBA, WNBA, and NBA G League to offer $3 million in grant funding and services to small business owners and emerging entrepreneurs.

The program aims to assist business owners with the tools and resources they need to start and grow their businesses—the perfect play. This opportunity is designed to support both established and budding business ventures with the most significant distribution of funding for small business owners in recent years.

Free Business Training: SC CompTIA IWT Scholarship program

South Carolina employers can apply for their employees to receive a scholarship to enroll in either a 12-week A+ program or 8-week Security+ program offered through CompTIA that includes mentored learning certification preparation package, valued at over $5,000.

  • Upskill employees through a scholarship opportunity
  • 16 weeks of access to CompTIA learning management system and 1:1 mentor support
  • Everything employees need to pass the certification examination and earn a CompTIA IT certification

Human Rights Campaign's Queer to Stay: LGBTQ+ Business Preservation Initiative

This initiative, a collaboration between the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) and SHOWTIME®, will celebrate and support Pride and the LGBTQ+ community by identifying and making significant donations to at least 25 LGBTQ+ serving businesses this year, selected based on the communities they serve and their financial need. Entering its fifth year, in 2024 Queer to Stay will have extended support to over 100 businesses since its inception.

Restaurant Disaster Relief Fund

The average small business loses $3,000 every day they remain closed due to a natural disaster. To help restaurants recover in times of critical need, DoorDash has partnered with Hello Alice to create the Restaurant Disaster Relief Fund. The fund supports restaurants impacted by natural disasters like fires, floods, and hurricanes, and provides relief through $10,000 grants.

The deadline to apply for the Summer 2024 Funding Round is Sept. 3, 2024.

Small Business Growth Fund

The Small Business Growth Fund provides the capital entrepreneurs need to make their next big move. Each recipient will receive a $5,000 grant, provided by Mastercard, to accelerate their growth and continue to help make 2022 the year of their small business.

Eligible businesses must:

  • Be a for-profit business
  • Have less than $1M in 2021 gross annual revenue
  • Have a commitment to their customers and community
  • Have a clear plan for use of funds
